The Lady Redbirds Basketball Youth Camp is designed to help young players (grades 4-8 for the 2014-2015 school year) enhance their fundamental basketball skills. The main focus will be shooting, ball handling and defensive skills during the camp. The camp will be directed by Alton High School Coach Bob Rickman. Coach Rickman just completed his first season at Alton and 10th year in coaching. Alton had it first winning season in 29 years under the direction of Coach Rickman with a 15-13 finish. Rickmanhas served as the assistant coach on three state championship teams in Missouri and Tennessee, along with coaching numerous former, and current college athletes.
