Senior Alex Tuetken is the Alton High School Smoothie King April Student-Athlete of the Month selection. Alex is a very good student and currently has a 4.609 GPA overall taking numerous honors courses. Alex is multi-sport athlete and was a Varsity starter in the fall for Boys Soccer team and was a 4-year letter winner along with being Captain his Senior year.  Alex currently is playing #1 Singles this spring and is on pace to be a 4-year letter winner in Boys Tennis. Alex has been an All-Conference performer on the hardcourts the past 2 years. Alex is a member of Redbird Nest, Pickleball Cub, Social Studies Club, NHS along with Spanish Club. Alex is also an outstanding musician and plans to attend Mizzou in the fall and major in Civil Engineering.

Senior Nolan Parker is the Alton High School Smoothie King April Athlete of the Month selection. Nolan currently leads the team with .424 avg in helping the Redbirds to a 11-5 start on the year. He has 2 doubles and 1 homerun so far along with 9 RBI’s and 10 runs scored. He also has 4 appearances on the mound this spring in helping to 3 wins. Nolan will be a 2-year letter winner in Baseball. He hopes to play baseball in college and major in Business.
