The Alton High Boys Golf Team finished their regular season match play with a Southwestern Conference victory over Belleville West. The Redbirds shot a team score of 161 - beating the Maroons by just 1 stroke. Joe Schwartz led all golfers with an even par 36. The other Redbird scores were Clint Cress and Max Hunter with a 41, and Alex Rubin with a 43. The Redbirds finish with a 4-2 conference record.
AHS will be playing in the Edwardsville Dick Gerber Invitational golf tournament at Oak Brook Golf Course on Friday.
